We are on the look-out for a Warehouse Team Manager to join the team at our Wellpark Brewery.

So what’s involved?
If you’ve ever taken the Tennents Brewery Tour, you’ll know that Wellpark is the biggest brewery in Scotland. Every day we produce over a million cans and kegs. Those include our own brands like Tennents and Caledonian Best, as well as products for other businesses and retailers. We’ve got a lot of product on site, and our 24/7 Warehouse team ensure it’s all handled safely and accurately.
This role is all about managing the warehouse team: from operational performance to day-to-day people management.
On the operational side, the safety of our people is paramount, so you will be a champion of safe working practices. You’ll plan resource to deliver operational effectiveness, report warehouse performance, always having an eye on opportunities for continuous improvement.
In terms of people management, you’ll be managing a team who work over different shifts. You’ll take the lead on managing training, performance, conduct, absence and team communications, and ensure the team work well together.
What you’ll need:
- Experience of working in an industrial-scale warehouse environment
- A track record of successful line management of a sizeable team (10+)
- Evidence of a continuous improvement mind-set
- Ability to prioritise to meet the demands of the business
- Great communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction and motivation to the team
- The ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Flexibility, adaptability and a passion to succeed
