We’re on the look-out for an experienced, driven and professional Business Development Manager for our South West/Lanarkshire Scotland region.
Covering a region that stretches from the Borders up to Lanarkshire, you’ll be focused primarily on identifying and converting new business customers, but will work closely with area sales managers to help development relationships with our existing customer base. In addition to our own well-loved brands like Tennents, Magners and Caledonian Best, we also represent ABInbev portfolio north of the border, giving you an unparalleled opportunity to sell a fantastic range of brands that consumers love.
This is a permanent, field-based role, and comes with a competitive salary. In addition, you’ll join our pension scheme, receive private health care, a company car, generous product allowance and be eligible for our bonus scheme.
So what’s involved?
As Business Development Manager you’ll be the ‘face’ of our brands in the local market. You’ll be personally responsible for creating a high profile and building positive relationships with new and existing customers. Through those relationships you’ll open up and develop quality and sustainable new accounts.
Your daily duties will cover all aspects of growing the regions customer base while creating new business, commercial support for your customers and management, and maximizing trade investment opportunities.
What you’ll need?
- A successful track record in a Wholesale / Brewery / FMCG sales role
- A full UK driving license
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Tenacity and a genuine desire to build sustainable relationships
- A naturally logical and organised approach to your work.
- And existing on-trade network in the South West/Lanarkshire Scotland area would obviously be very helpful
